V.  [VvV] had been a multi-platform/gaming Clan.  We have kept the multi-platform but will only hold Teams on a couple of titles.  No more than 3 per Branch/Console.  We do encourage members to get new Arcade games, and to keep their older games, as we hold Arcade/Classic gaming nights monthly.

VI.  [VvV]'s Rules of Engagement are very simple: You will fire only if fired upon.  If we are verbally attacked we will defend ourselves.  [VvV] and its member will not initiate verbal conflicts.

VII.  [VvV] will show respect to every opponent, until they show disrespect to us. Our reputation as a Clan is more important than our match record.

This includes modded controllers, lag switches, known glitches.  While other players may be, we do not.   In the event that we are in a match that someone is running a glitch we will report them, place them on avoid and we will use their exploit against them (ex:stealing their unlimited air drops).  While the leadership will not condone it, the practice of teamkilling any player on your team who is glitching is not discouraged.  We will not initiate any glitches or exploits.

IX.  [VvV] plays with sportsmanship, we set a higher example for others that play with us. "Good Games" should be heard after every match.  Good humor is great!  But Trash talking can go too far.  There is a fine line, don't cross it.

If you joined on one specific console and now have the opportunity to play on the other, you still have earned the right to wear our tag on that side as well. If you desire not to join us on your new console, you may be limited to your growth and what will be available to you on your current console.

History of [VvV]:

The whole story. VvV, Veni Vidi Vici was founded on February 12th 2004. Founded by Kokido, PLAY-UH and Daisy. The 3 founders had been friends for over a year. Kokido joined SCEA, Sony Computer Entrainment of America, early 2003 to learn about Socom. From there he got sucked into the world of online gaming, he quickly found a solid SCEA Clan, =JSD= Just Stay Down. He worked hard and earned a lot of respect from the fellow SCEA Clans. During his time with =JSD= he worked his way up to Co-Leader and took over the Clan when the Leader had to step down.PLAY-UH at the time was the Leader of his own Clan »SS« The Stilmatic Squad. It was a younger crowd Clan but homed some of the best shooters from SCEA. »SS« came to terms and disbanded, Kokido offered their members a place to call home at =JSD= a couple joined and the rest went on their way.Daisy was a member of DTW, Dead to the World. One of the original SCEA Clans, and a member of the prtigous 4 Clan alliance along with SS, Sea Snipers, WK, the Wild Knights and MTF, Military Task Force. Along with SBD aka SiK, Kokido really looked up to the Clan and its Leaders and hoped someday he could reach the same level of Leadership. [10c] The Ten Commandments would be born on SCEA and they became [VvV] and Kokido’s closest allies. In early February, PLAY-UH planted the seed of starting a new Clan, he said Daisy would be up to it and fueled Kokido's passion for a Clan he could call his own. After much thinking, he decided to step down as =JSD='s Leader and start his new Clan. PLAY-UH left with him and Daisy left DTW and VvV was born!

It wasn't an easy start, with all new SCEA Clans, VvV was met with adversity and big challenges to overcome. No matter who you were loyalties were strong and very few gave new Clans any hope for surviving longer than 6 months. The 3 new founders were in no way clueless to how to run a Clan, Kokido had for 7 months with =JSD=, PLAY-UH had over a year experience with »SS« and Daisy worked with DTW's Leadership. They recruited and a few members came quickly, some former clan mates from »SS« and =JSD=. Kokido made a website and forums, nothing special. http://vvvici.proboards.com/index.cgi . But it got the job done and gave them a way to communicate within the Clan.VvV's biggest challenge was the Founders to understand each other and compromise, all 3 had a similar view for VvV but little things they didn't always agree on. Add PLAY-UH quick to blow up temper, and Kokido's hard head and VvV's Leadership was on rough seas. Even during trying times they always put the Clan first and included its members in decisions. VvV grew, and started to earn a little respect from its fellow SCEA Clans, but was still labels as a 'Clicky' Clan, and many didn’t think VvV would last longer than 6 months and a year if we were lucky. We joined GB, it was the only option at the time, we lost our first match against some random Clan, LOB lost 6-0 and 6-1. SiK, a big ally to VvV wanted to war and war soon. Against Kokido's judgement PLAY-UH convinced him they were ready. SiK wanted to put VvV in its place so to speak, we had gotten a reputation of a 'young, unrulely' Clan. Many thought VvV wouldn't last 6 months and thought we were better than we actually were. Bandit, the Leader of SiK and Kokido have been friends since he joined SCEA. There were no hard feelings and he knew VvV had to earn the respect of the SCEA Clans, and what better way than to go gun to gun against one of SCEA’s best. SiK brought their best guns, some of the best on SCEA, showing that if VvV wanted to earn respect, it was going to be tough. VvV won their match against SiK, shocked SCEA, earned quite a bit of respect, and Kokido learned to listen to his fellow Clan Leader with open ears VvV won on Sandstorm as Seals 6-4 MVP: DYNK and on Guidance as Terrorist 6-1 MVP CooKiE.

The following couple months were good, we continued to grow, earning a lot of respect due to Kokido rules of 'Respect, Honor and Integrity'. VvV's sportsmanship was a big surprise to SCEA as many wrote them off as cocky. VvV started the UFA, Ultimate Forum Alliance with SiK, XN and «S». We had a site, had scheduled scrimmages, planned practices and had each others backs. At one time we had Quad Teams on GB made up from members from each Clan.

Like every Clan changes happen. Unfortunately Daisy was the first to step down and leave, she found a temporary home at SiK, until her husband Thorn founded ~Z~, Zen. But VvV didn't run short on Leadership quality, we had taken in most of =JSD= after is disbanded, and a few new members showed a lot of Leadership qualities some came to VvV others found home at FOX, Zen and SiK. PLAY-UH was next to step down and resign at VvV, he too found a home at SiK. After a few failed attempts to rejoin VvV he took some time away from gaming. When he came back, he had shown a big change and was welcomed back, and from that point VvV has always held a 2nd chance for any member that leaves. With every new Socom release came a loss of members before the new game came out and then a new group of members. It also meant that there would be new Clans on SCEA, some good and some bad. VvV became allies with XN, Exiled Noobs. Razrbac their Leader joined up with VvV and brought a few members with him. He also brought a new website. http://xnclan.maelos.org/vvv/index.php It was a new challenge but brought VvV up a notch. It also open the door for us to hold our own tournaments. During VvV's Socom chapter on GB we took a chance and tried to see how good we could get, during that time we reach our highest rank of 13, it didn't come without many trials. Besides the stress and attitude that comes with GB, we had to recruit to keep our winning going. We would sometimes wager on skill instead of character and maturity. Luckily it was just a phase we went through. With our new website, VvV and XN we used XN to host our own tournaments. We would invite our friends and held some great tournaments; Sniper/Scout, Survivor and our epic Conquest for the Americas. We brought a fun and competitive aspect to Socom without the egos or attitude that came with GB. We didn’t need to worry about rules being broken or glitches being used because we only brought in Clans that played at our same level of character.

As we adapted and grew with each new Socom, we learned quickly to look at other games. Socom was losing our interest and each new title seemed to disappoint us more and more. One of our Officers had made the leap to Xbox Live and he loved it. With lot of input, and help from a couple other members a few of us ‘Sony Fan Boys’ took the leap and bought a 360. And that was it, a long sought after dream was about to be met. Early on WK, the Wild Knights had become a multi platform Clan, something Kokido wanted to achieve. Kokido worked with his Leadership and they planned out a plan of attack. They got their feet wet with Call of Duty 3, just to see about Live and what it had to offer. But with Rainbow Six Las Vegas II and Call of Duty 4, we had options! It was between September and October of 07 that the decision and planning was made official to make VvV on the 360. We made the ‘Official Clan Announcement’ on November 7th 2007 we made a full Clan showing on Call of Duty 4 Modern Combat. Members changed their gamer-tag to show that they have earned the right to call themselves a member of VvV. In March of 2008 VvV was invited to join S.E.A.L. Sea Snipers Evade & Assault League. http://www.seasnipers.net/seal/ SS had been an ally of VvV since the beginning but we had lost touch from the late Socom days as they made the move to the 360 quicker than we did. We have been a proud member of S.E.A.L. ever since and we won the title in 2010. S.E.A.L. allows us to compete at a high level without dealing with the drama, glitching or ego’s that are very dominate in online gaming. S.E.A.L. is extremely selective on who joins, there is a long trail period and SS is very strict on the level of character and maturity from which the Clans hold. Some of the best Clans we have warred have been in S.E.A.L. and we are extremely grateful and proud to be a member of S.E.A.L.Our story doesn't end here. As we reach each birthday of VvV, we set new goals and up our standard for how we conduct our Clan. We have no idea what the future has in store for us, but one thing we do know is that VvV will always be here and our brotherhood will only grow and get stronger as time goes on.

Fratres in armis, brothers in arms.
Veni Vidi Vici, I came I saw I conquered.

Your friend, brother and Leader,
Kokido.
